Session Protection

The Session Protection security engine focuses on the user session level. Session Protection prevents impersonation and the sending of large volumes of automatic requests that could potentially crash a server. dotDefender blocks and intercepts security attacks at the user session level:

• Session Hijacking

  Overtaking (hijacking) a legitimate user to perform unauthorized operations.

• HTTP Denial of Service (DoS)

  Attempts that threaten to flood and overwhelm server functionality and cause the server to crash.
